Five others who were in the restaurant were injured in the accident. These include two children of Arab nationality and an Asian child.
Colonel Abdullah Ahmad Al Hamrani, Ajman Police’s Acting Commander, said the driver of the vehicle was reversing out of the parking area in front of the glass facade of the restaurant, when he suffered a severe bout of epilepsy that led him to apply pressure on the throttle, causing him to ram into the restaurant.
He requested all drivers to take caution and not allow those suffering from diseases to drive.
