Dubai Police signs MoU with Dubai Healthcare City Authority

Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, and Dr. Ramadan Ibrahim Al Blooshi, CEO of Dubai Healthcare City Authority, DHCA, witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU, between both sides in the medical fields especially dentistry and orthopedic surgery, and that is at the headquarters of the Dubai Police General Command.

The MoU calls on both sides to cooperate in all the possible means to offer the services which contribute in making their customers happy and strengthen the partnership between them, and to work on developing the activities between them in the fields of mutual interest, and for DHCA to transfer its leading experience in the field of dentistry and orthopedic surgery to Dubai Police. The Memorandum also dictates that the Dubai Police General Command supports the DHCA allocating its health facilities to provide the health services in the field of dentistry and orthopedic surgery to the employees of Dubai Police and their families.

According to the MoU, Dubai Police General Command offers support for the DHCA in the necessary facilitations with the health insurance companies which work on providing the insurance coverage for Dubai Police’s employees and their families.

According to the Memorandum, the DHCA will work on providing the services of dentistry and orthopedic surgery to the employees of Dubai Police and their families who are included in the health insurance or those whose treatment costs were pledged to be covered by Dubai Police or those who are following up in their personal capacity, for the offered services to be according to excellent medical standards and services and discounts.

The DHCA will provide Dubai Police with a list of the prices of the medical services accredited to it, in addition to the discounts on the prices which will be granted to the Dubai Police employees and their families outside of the insurance coverage, and will allocate health packages with preferential rates for the offered services in the facilities of DHCA for orthopedic medicine and surgery and dentistry.

And the DHCA will support Dubai Police to do joint initiatives related to social responsibility through organising awareness social programmes, for the prior agreement and coordination between both sides on the details of these initiatives to be done before organising them, alongside organising the continuous medical education programme.
